How to create an iOS enrollment in Springmatic
Prerequisite: Ensure that a valid APNS certification is available for your tenant. More info here.

Create an iOS Enrollment
In the Springmatic environment, click on the devices icon 
and 'Enrollments'.
Click 'CREATE ENROLLMENT' in the upper right corner. Select 'iOS'.
Give the enrollment a name, select the fleet for the devices to enroll to, and select a naming schema for the enrolled devices.
Once ready click 'DONE' to generate a QR code.
Setting an iOS Device in Supervised Mode
Before enrolling an iOS device in Springmatic, the device itself needs to be set in supervised mode. This can be provisioned using a MacOS device running the Apple Configurator.
On MacOS, search the AppStore for the Apple Configurator 
and install it.
Connect the device to the Mac using a USB cable.
Setting an iOS device in supervised mode can be done from initial setup of the device or requires a factory reset of the device. If the device has been setup, the following steps will reset the device.
Open the Apple Configurator app on the Mac and verify the device is show.
Click 'Prepare' at the top. In the pop up window, select 'Manual configuration', 'Supervise devices', and 'Allow devices to pair with other computers'.
If prompted to sign in to the Apple School Manager or Apple Business Manager using your Apple ID, simply click 'Skip'.
For putting the device in supervised mode there is no need to connect to an MDM. Select 'Do not enroll in an MDM'. Create an organization name, click 'Next', and select which settings should be presented to the user for the device onboarding.
The next step will factory reset your device if it has been setup before.
Once ready, click 'Prepare'.
Once complete the device should show in the 'Supervised' tab.

Enrolling a Device in Springmatic
Using the supervised device, open the camera application to scan the enrollment QR code. At the prompt, open the link in Safari.
Agree to download the profile. Go to 'Settings' - 'VPN & MDM management'. The enrollment will display as an option. Click the 'Install' link at the top to apply the profile to the device.
